Hey, Im thinking on buying some mags for my 94 magna but i need to know the biggest i can go, i want 17" but i heard some where that 16" is my limit. I put my parents 17" mags on and the total size including the the tyre was the same as mine so im guessing that 17" would be fine??? Any help would be great, thanx

If you are just talking 'will fit' not legality, then 19" by 8.5" wide with 245/35/19 rubber was what I had on my TS...
Edit: Note: This is legal in the ACT...Lucky us :)

There is no real limits..
As long as they meet the guide lines ur right.. that is alsong as they dont hang out the guards or hit anything, if you through the rolling diametre out my more than 15mm u need to callibrate ur speedo and also car beeds to past a brake test as it now effects ur brakes.. :D

I believe that in NSW the limits on rim size are 2 inches above the largest standard rim diameter and 1 inch above the widest standard rim width, as shown on the cars tyre placard.
This would mean that for a 2nd gen magna (that could have 15"x6" rims as standard) the legal maximum rim size would be 17"x7" rims.
