hey everyone, i am getting very bored with my huge and ugly gear-knob(manual), and was wondering if anyone has changed their's to an aftermarket one ...

i noticed that just above the gear-boot, there is a circular "thing" connected to the top of the gear-boot , which obviously holds the gear boot in place

when i have tried to put on an aftermarket one it seems that the actual gear-knob sits above the gear-boot , and it looks really bad hehe,

can someone tell me if an aftermarket gear-knob will fit onto a TE gearstick so that there is no gap between the gear-knob and the gear boot ?

cheers for any replies

ps.... this was all done when i had already slipped on the socket, and tightened the allen key screws,......... ...just thought id clear that up hehe

hmmm when i got my aftermarket momo air leather knob i also bought a nice momo leather boot to go with it look's great but its a bit of extra work fitting and a bit more expensive , yo uwill have to get a really long aftermarket knob or buy some vynal and make your own boot to suit. ;)
