hey guys,

Just wondering how much power as in hp/kw's are you guys getting out of your v6 th magnas, im looking at modding and want to see what is the best way to go about it
tell us the modding youve done to it as well... CHeers

my manual TH sports got 121 with just cat back exhaust, with just CAI flowed TB and changed the sports muffler to a cannon i got 130atws

and a supercharger will cost you 7k but you'll probebly pull off around 240kws

hehe, my brother got 121kw at the front wheels stock standard on his TH advance manual wagon :cool: dyno proven too

Having a hard time following this thread.....my TH Magna Advance has 147kw @5000. I fitted a Lukey High Flow Stainless and Dave at RPW said I would probably get a 10 - 13kw boost which seems about right after driving it around for a couple of days. So that's 158kw say and with a CAI add another 3kw and bingo over 160kw.

Seems to be more throttle response even at lower RPM and is more economical by about .5/l
I haven't got access to a dyno but these seem fairly safe figures.

your numbers are straight from the flywheel which is basically the engine. after going through the clutch, transmission and differential a lot of power is lost to heat and vibration, etc, so this figure isn't so important. whats more important is how much power your wheels can push, which is what the other people are quoting.

What he said. You can generally figure on a 30% loss from the flywheel to the road. My TH 3.5 auto is rated at 147 at the flywheel, and was dynoed at 107 at the wheels (100% stock.)

My poor old TR wagon then rated @ 92kw is down to 60.....oh no. :shock:
