I have an audison srx2s and a dual 4ohm premium MB quart Sub.
Would it be a bad idea to present a 2ohm load to just one of the two channels of the amp? (does it need to be balanced)
I have a second sub that seemed to get lost in the mail and could be weeks before it get hear and i cant really wait.
The final set up will be 4ohm load presented by the subs connected to the amp in one channel at 600rms (bridged)
Any help would be great thanks

Wire up one coil to each channel. You'll get the most out of your amp.

Okay i have wired one coil to each channel and now the amp seems not to be working. Its is an Srx2s and the green power light is flashing rather that staying on like the one powering my splits. Anyone know what this means?
Thanks

Is your amp capable of a 2ohm load in bridged mode.
make sure you have the phasing the right way. ie positive to positive negative to negative.
iirc the coils will "fight" against each other if there not right.
Is this right tim??

I thought by wiring one coil to each channel it wasnt being bridged?

is the polarity correct?
Channel 1 Positive to Voice coil 1 positive
Channel 1 negative to Voice coil 1 negative
Channel 2 Positive to Voice coil 2 positive
Channel 2 negative to Voice coil 2 negative
it is a two channel amp correct?
Peace

I took everything out connected to the second amp and changed the grounding place and now it works a treat.
