im no audio whiz, so dont give me shiz

anyway

equipment used: response 4X100 amp with response 6.5" component speakers.

trying to hook up new splits to a new amp. the amp is sucesfully running a sub in bridge mode, however, i have wired the new speaker wire from chan3 and chan4 on the amp, and running it to the front speaker, and putting it into the "INPUT" channels on the speaker. However nothing comes out :o. If i were to attach the stock magna speaker wires to the input of the speakers, then it works. I have tried playing with all the settings on my amp, but alas, i think i have tried everything and still no luck.

attached are the settings/wiring that ive tried.

ah pics help... good work.

You've plugged the rca's into the wrong plugs. You want them in the Channel 3+ 4 input on the right.

You have plugged them into the output. (Outputs the signal from channel 1+2) if you want to run more amps.

Actually, You may be better off wiring up ur subs to channel 3&4 which will allow you to use your gain control to turn the sub up and down appropriately.

Then wire up channel 1&2 to your splits.

(remember to swap the rca's around appropriately

Peace

Tim

What outputs do you have from your headunit?
Front RCA out
Sub RCA out?
