can someone extend some ideas/instructions on removing the airvents from the dash?

the single ones, ie the ones on each end of the dash - not the centre (double) one

A small flat head screwdriver under the lip and pry it out... its only held in by i think 2 clips

put a thin cloth on the tip of the screwdriver

Sweet, I'll be trying this tomorrow to complete my paint job. :D

Mine just popped out. You have to be careful not to scratch but they just pop out on my Diamante. I have a gauge mounted in one so I have pulled it in and out dozens of times.

If you're careful you might only get a few scratches...But you're gonna paint them anyway :P

But as said above, cloth and flat head :thumbsup:
