Alternatively, its white, you could try putting those new clear tail lights on it. Or White tail lights. Might look nice.

Okies, you say you want a 'my a$$ is better than yours' look. Firstly, I'd loose the towbar. Def not a go-fast, stylish or even remotely 'cool' look. If you have to keep it, fair enough, you've opted for the 'utilitarian' look (a vehicle that has equipment attached to it to pull stuff around).
If you can loose the towbar, I'd also consider clear tail lights (if legal) and featuring your exhaust (which you seem to love) a bit more by possibly having it rasied and with a cut-out in the bumper. Also, I'd loose the chrome garnish; it detracts from the car's natural lines.
Even though I own a TJ, I do like the look of the rear of the TE/TH and would vote to keep it. Possibly add a Sports rear wing.

VR-X II. If you lost your wing, it would look so much better. You should get someone to photoshop it and see how it looks.

From some angles de-winged looks good (eg.back), and from others not. (eg.side view)
I really think the side view looks plain without the wing, takes away that sporty edge.
So all in all I say NO to the de-wing idea.
I think spoilers are a thing of the past though, I think the lip spoilers are the go. If you have a spoiler I say leave it, removing the spoiler gives u a weird not right sort of look...... bit like a base model (referring to vrx)
Your back looks the goods vrx2, I really like how you have removed the lip where the tow bar would normally go

Yeah, I agree. Photo angles can make all the difference. That shot was taken from about number-plate high. How's this:

For what it's worth, Mitsubishi did do a lot of homework (wind-tunnel testing, etc) on the wing before they stuck it on the VR-X...

ditch the wing

Ashneel, i say keep the TH boot as you are going to have problems with the lines from the front of your car flowing to the rear. (wont look right with a boot with a groove in it.)
The TJ has the beak and lines that run up and pan out to match the rear bootlid.
The TH has a nice sleek bonnet and boot.. Keep it i reckon.
If you want to try a TL bootlid, i gave one to Choonga. Its probably sitting in a garage somewhere doing nothing. Ask him if you can borrow it. (If it he tries to sell it to you, i want to know!) lol
For what it's worth, Mitsubishi did do a lot of homework (wind-tunnel testing, etc) on the wing before they stuck it on the VR-X...
Vr-X IIFor what its worth, Mitsubishi didnt do any testing on the bodykit at all for the VRX as they dont have a windtunnel to test them in.

You cant fit a TJ boot on a TL/W by the way. Just to let you know.

Sorry for going off topic again, but VRX-II, I think the TJ boot is an excellent design with the two sleek cuts down the back. The wing unfortunately takes away from that feature, which I like.
TL/W spoiler looks nicer than without one. But on a TJ i'd definately have no spoiler.

I say keep it as it is, but if you do change it and somehow you decide to sell your car, remember to tell the next buyer lol. I like the current one that you have, simple and nice.

you cant quite fit a TL boot onto a TE-TH.... the curves on the corners onto the bumper are different. You need to replace the rear bumper aswell.

ye might do that. as bain said choonga has a TL boot so if i can get that of him for a reasonible price i wouldnt mind gettin the rear bar and tail lights. thats why i need the back to be photochoped to a TL to see wat it looks like.

Might as well save up enough to change the whole car lol. It is interesting to see someone do it though but I wouldnt be bothered about doing it with so much hassel.

You know what? You should really put some decent mags on this thing and dump it big time. WIll look so much better then. I have a TH which is dumped and it looks pretty good. I get told all the time that i wouldn't even need a body kit. Just put some parra's on it, and frost the rear lights. And remove the chrome garnish and replace it with a white one. DONE
For what its worth, Mitsubishi didnt do any testing on the bodykit at all for the VRX as they dont have a windtunnel to test them in.
Id just like to say VRX-II messaged me and made me eat humble pie in private.
But i said everyone should know as its good info to know.

Mitsu DID do windtunnel testing. The engineers i spoke to were talking out their ass.
So i give my apologies to VRX-II
