Hi to all, I was wondering if anyone may be able to help me I am in Melbourne Vic. and need a new motor (I think) for my 93 Magna TR exec wagon. I have tried around and been quoted anywhere from $1300 thru to $2500. Could someone please advise me on a reputable mechanic or dealer, where I can be assured of a fair deal, I am prepared to pay what it takes to fix but have been given the run around and really just need the car fixed asap for work. So please if anyone can forward me numbers or advice on this rather pressing issue.

a repco service centre should be good, i think they also provide a warranty??

First of all whats wrong with the car? and why do you think you need a new engine?

Also dont go to Repco service centre. (try a private mechanics place, $1300 sounds fair, depends on K's on the engine.)

is a rebuilt something you can look at?
depening on what is wrong though.. :confused:

H M 5Star - GEM get a engine off these guys not sure of price less than 3 grand though im sure they sell through repco and bursons
