Ok what cause a 3litre Magna to keep 2000RPM revs all the time...?
I am having a great deal of bother at the moment Decelerating down hill on a Closed Throttle as the damn car wants to keep at 2000Rpm Even when returning to idle it takes a good 30secs to drop from 2000RPM and Blipping the throttle does not help...
Its a Manual too.. Would the throttle position Sensor have something to do with it ???

butterfly valve? (sorry i can't remember the real name of it).
possibly its stuck or something?

I would think TPS.

Could be your TPS (as mentioned before), uncover the black housing on it and see how it moves the contacts disk inside it)

Could be ur throttle butterfly...

Could be ur ecu
