hey guys,
got a V6 Manual TE and was wondering if you need to get your suspension, shocks etc checked ? My last service was at 148k kms and the cars done 151k kms
How do you when your suspension, drive shafts and gearbox are in bad shape?
Thanks

hey adcha1 :) ,
yeah i am wondering the same thing due to the fact that my back shocks are starting to sqweek when ever i go up or down a driveway any way keep me informed and i will do the same i going to ring a few places now and find out so standby ......... :).
i just rang a few suspension places and also mitsubishi aswell and they all seemed to suggest that your suspension will let you know when there is a problem as for creeking in the back end that could be the back window seal  apparently it moves when the body flexes after a while or suspension bushes could be dry or springs could be moving in their saddles  wtf so man i hope that sort of helped :D

Its called the bounce test.. it is simple..
For the Fronts
1 Place hands directly above the wheel on the Quarter panel and Push Down then release
the Car should rise back into position with one Bounce.. If it Shakes and Wobbles then suspension components need to be looked at
For The rears.
2. Place hands on rear 1/4 panel and push down firmly.
The Car should rise back into positon with one bouce.. Any more then 1 bounce then the suspension needs to be checked....
Repeat for each wheel.
For Drive Train, If your CV's make a Clicking noise Whilst turning the car at full lock then your CV's need replacing...
If your Car Revs inbetween shifting Gears in an Auto , Time for a Transmission Service..
If your Car seems to ride the clutch when you change gears in a manual then it is time for a New Clutch...
generally the Transmission oil should be changed at around every 50.000k's for the Manuals.
Not sure on the Auto's.
