My magna 92 model has central locking, I havent had a problem with it since I got it installed (about a year ago). The other day went to open it up with the keyring remote and it wouldnt open - the LED works on the remote & the battery is fine of course.

I had it installed at Straithfield and have been happy with it, but now its done it twice within 2 days, all the doors still open with the key.

Im wondering, is there a FUSE or RELAY or something else in the system that could not be working (those things are the only things I can come up with.)

thankyou.

When i got my viper installed... the 2 fuses for it were under the steering wheel. On your back if you look under the console there might be a couple fuses you can look to see if they are blown. Thats the only suggestion i have for you now. Ill keep thinkin about it and let you know.

Oh- got another one, i dont know where it is, but there has to be a ground somewhere (maybe someone else knows where this might be) check the ground cuz that could cuase problems also.

Hop you find your help.

Don't know if it's the same with after market ones, but with the central locking on my Ralliart, it became "unprogrammed" and I had to take it to my local mitsi dealer to have him reprogram it. Depressing the button did nothing but all the doors still opened with the key. After it was reprogramed it worked fine.

Have you checked the battery in the remote??. A friend the same problem and was as easy as that.

If There Is No Sound Coming From The Drivers Door Solanoid Then Your Module In The Car Is At Fault Or If It Does Make A Slight Noise On The Drivers Door The Solonoid Has Stripped The Gear Which Is Common For Aftermarket Kits.the Drivers Solonoid Will Operate All Doors When Unlocking.

Ur thats is a simple solution. You just have to read you Mitsubishi Manual to see how it is being done. Is just a matter of turning on your ignition and turning it off 5 times and pressing the remote to program it. Did this when I bought my car without the remote, the owner gave me lousy excuse for not having one or loosing it! Told me it was going to cost me $45.00 but it is $59.00

Nope, first thing I tested, with a second remote & also theres a LED on it that flashes. It's gotta be a fuse or something but because its working on and off I dont think fuses or relays do this, might get a auto-electrician to test it.

Ok this is what happens.

Cannot unlock car with remote when I go out to it after its been standing for a few hours, the LED & battery in my remote works(on both).Unlock the door, opens all of the others fine, jump in the car, im able to press the button whilst in the car and the doors go up and down no problem, like I said after I leave the car and dont go in it for a few hours, I cannot use the remote..

anyone had this problem ?
