Just bought a second hand Verada 97 ei with only 87K on the clock and perfect inside and out cost 9k ( not bad deal i thought ). It's the Champagne colour however which isn't my first choice. I'm going to graduly transform this mild tempered granny bowls mobile into something more agressive. My first thoughts are 18" rims ( any probs with that ? ) lowering ? , Also thinking about either spraying the centre console silver or something, any ideas. You have all probably covered all this before, but I'm too lazy to look through all the past posts.

I feel about 60 years old driving it, so i need to mod it fast.

welcome to AMC

Wheels- 18's, 19's or 20's will fit usually with minimal probs

lowering most use supa low fronts and low rears.

in the car audio section theres a "how to remove your console" thread that may help you some in painting it

FSH ? dunno what that means , new to forum speak ! but if you mean that 87k sounds too good to be true, your probably right. The car looks and feals like it's only done 87 however, I'm happy with the purchase all the same.

FSH = full service history

At the very least a fully stamped vehicle logbook (in your glovebox).

If you're lucky the previous owner would give you a full file of receipts of work done.
Your car would have needed routine services at least @ 15/30/45/60/75,000 km
and the service centre would note the odometer reading on the invoice.

Raven,

I like the look of your car ( nice wheels ). I won't bother with any pix at the moment because its just stock stock stock std. Are they 18" on your car ?

The Colour is mad.

I have people who coment on the look of mine all the time.

I have one the same with 18's and lowered. You can see pictures of it at MYSTI's web site. Maybe someone could help me out with a link or post a picture. I am not computer smart. :cry:
