Looking good.

Is that a CB radio or a police/radar detector?

Nice....
All you need to do now is replace the Standard Gearbag, Shorten the Gear stick and get a Nice Aftermaket gear knob and you will be cruising...

hello mewey :P

man you have to tell me details of that (time, how to undo etc) on msn, cause that looks feaken awesome!
howcome you didnt paint the bit where the radio is?

now to make it complete, buy either black or white loose throw over seat covers, get rid of the dash mat, and get an aftermarket steering wheel.

just some simple color co-ordination.

but dood that looks mad id love to do that but am worried the interior will be out for days

great work!

There are Two options when Shortening the Stick
1, Backyard way
2. Professional way..

The Backyard way requires a no turn back attitude and risk ( Which is the way I went)
it also means you can never put your old Gear knob back on and Pretty much have to Glue your New Gear knob into place...... Meaning use a Hacksaw and cut it down making sure that your new gear knob will fit...

Professional way, take it to a Metal fabrication place and ask them to cut the Gear stick and rethread it....

Looks great mewey! What sort of paint did you use? What colour? Where did you get it!

Personally I would put that 40channel under the stereo where the digi clock is sitting (get rid of that plastic slot thing)... I am actually doing that with my UHF today (its been sitting on the dash all winter!)

Top Job!!

Many times. :) I just think rationally. Just cause its modded, doesnt mean its better. A good mod looks stock.

Red seats and white dash clashes. The rest of the dash needs to be finished, not just the few parts he's done. The middle console frame bit also needs to be sprayed that silver. The shifter needs to be changed, the stock ones look really daggy. That's what I'd do to fix it for starters. I'd then bother getting power mirrors, a clock in the center dash plus others. And that massive CB radio looks bodgey. Get a 1 DIN onem they look more in place.

Refer to magna girls pic, something like what I would do, but not quite like that.

yeah dood well he didnt have that much time to take apart half his dash to get to the centre console bit where the CD player is, same as with the other parts. he will be doing it soon though. and dude gee whats wrong with a CB radio in the car? sure doesnt look the best but you cant do everything in a 3-4 hour timeframe

and yeah the red seat covers look lame, but for like $30 he can fix that.

and ZOMG Magna_ Girl_77 can you post larger pics? or send them to me? that interior is like 99% what i want to do to mine, PLEASE i wanna see bigger pics!
