Hey ya all.
I have had this issue on and off 4 a while now and has finally ticked me off 4 the last time!!!!
Its a noise that sounds like tappin commin from the engine/drivers side area, was wondering on all your stories (and prices) of what and how these various issues were fixed cause u know its way easier to go2 a mech with a bit of knowledge.
Cheers

Usually i just hit my bro in the passenger seat cos hes making the annoying noise, "no i love you more, no i do i love you soooo much" worst thing is shes an absolute munter i mean not fit to frick pigs style munter!

Annoying tappy noises, presume you have had a once over engine bay for loose wires nuts etc.

Also check your wheelarch liners cos i once had a stone stuck above mine that drove me nuts till i found it.

She definatly aint stones in arch liners it ticks with the revs like gets faster eventually to the point she gone!!! and once driven 4 a bit back to whisper quiet.

Are you sure it's not your engine? As in your lash adjusters?

I was going to say Injectors as they can get noisey with time . Worst Cause is Tappets and that calls for a Top end rebuild..

Or just to readjust and tighten them?.....

Very simple to do, before changing the oil add the engine flush in the engine. Now its best to follow the directions on the bottle for how long to run the car as different brands vary from each other, Then just drain the oil as normal
