Hi All,

Ive just bought myself a 2002 Magna VR-X. (well about 2 months ago)

Anyhow, im wanting to lower it even further than its current state (factory standard lowered springs)

It has 17inch rims currently with low profiles. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what sort of springs i could get to achieve this. Im actually hoping to lower it enough so the back rim/tyre is kind of slipped up under the guard.

Also in regards to engine mods and muffler mods. What can one do to improve the power? (besides adding a chip) 163KW is nice an all.. But arent we all after more power?

Thanks in advance,
Bain

P.S Great site btw Aussiemagna.

It's all about visiting www.rpw.com, that's the best place to start.

the vrxs r resobibly low...and u wanna go lower...u sorta wanna tuck...4 a magna with kit...thats *** low!
If u do it...be prepared for a rough ride...slow driving over bumps...suspension creeks and alot of annoyed people that will b waiting behind you for u to get over speed bumps/up drive ways!

The guards on my TE sit level with my tyres and i have to take it slow...its rough and driveways...well lets just park on the road!

but it would look SWEET! as the sayin goes 'if they aint tucked they look ****ed' (i luv mini-trucks). And it gives a evil stance!

Performance: recommend a KnN pod and rear muff (magnaflow i think is d go on here) and a Riseing Fuel Regulater (sumfin like dat) with all those ull have sum very nice pick up from all speeds...and cost approx $500

mines lowered 2" front 1.5" rear and my ride quality is fine, in fact its probobly better over stock. I used king springs and love them to death

the only thing is my suspension quacks.... well it squeeks....

Drive me CRAZY sometimes!

Thanks for the reply guys.

Will look into some springs and exhaust this weekend.

Not too sure on the K&N Pod though. I heard that this can seriously stuff up the timings with the chip? Can anyone confirm this?

In response to your question about the K&N pod, i have never heard of that happening. I have never seen a pod cause problems to anyone. Interesting about the timing though but i would have to say no it wouldn't be a problem.
