Well I now have a McCormicks Intake resonator installed...
I am yet to see the intake Noise Benefit as I am currently also changing the Oil...

Respect to Hyper TF for the Suggestion as these Lids fit in nice and Tight and are at little risk from being Sucked in..

I may do the Bottom resonator but I have run out of McCormicks lids and it does look like it is quite a Hassle to get the other one out..

Warning: I hear mum's kick butt over these mods... I pinched the first one from my mum to try it out and left glad wrap on the top lol... well she hunted me down and as it turns out I now have 2 large herb shakers without lids and crumby glad wrap with elastic bands  lol

Ahh mum's... gotta love em... but don't piss them off! lol

edit: p.s. You have made a shiney spot in your engine bay now... you know what that means!!

I have No Idea what a Shiny spot in the Engine Bay means?? Surely a Black Plastic Lid does not account for engine Bay Bling???

You won't notice much difference considering you still have the stock intake snorkel in place. Pull that out to really hear the engine. As for the bottom one being hard, are you kidding? You simply loosen the hose clamp on the throttle body and the MAF and pull out the intake pipe. It takes maybe 20 seconds. Then simply lossen the clamp holding the bottom resonator, pull it out, and replace with your cap.

Not sure, it may fit the 2nd Gens

I did the underneath Resonator this morning.. Engine bay a little tidier..Induction a bit better.. Now time for an Airfilter Upgrade...

I am keeping the Snorkel as my friend has an SS Induction kit on his Commodore and it looks Identical to the one I have on my Magna so it will stay...
