ok, ive done the search not much has shown up besides ppl wanting to swap them and magna bits and pieces for sale. quick question, is the boot garnishes the same on the te/tf wagon and sedan reason; ive found an altera wagon, which has the chrome garnish and want it for my sedan.

Should be, I cannot see them build two sorts of the Same Rear Garnishes one of for wagons and one for sedans???

you can always take yours off to compare them before you take off the wagon's? I am saying this because I did maybe, and I only say maybe saw it was different from the Wagon's. I am holding to the chrome one, bought it from Mitsubishi, as quite a few used ones are not really well taken care of so decided to grab a new one.

did the wagons have a keyhole in the boot garnish? i cant remember...

Yeah, the wagon has the keyhole in the thingy where the sedan doesnt. bugger, cause those chrome ones for the sedan are about $80 from mitsu

Yep, that was why I thought it was different sorry to disappoint you. :(
But I do adivise you to grab a new one as many of them has tarnished? they dont look shiny as what it used to be.

thanx guys for the help :D the guy ended up not wanting to separate the boot garnish from the boot, so looks like ill get one from mitsu :D

U be happy with the new one, trust me. I am.
Just make sure you clean it with a dry clean cloth after rains etc.
