Just wondering what the standard info on 1st gen tyres are, since im hunting for rims currently, this will help with those i might find on ebay :P
is it;
4x114.3 PCD
Offset + 35-38
14" or 15" (obviously it depends on which model)
5.5" (14") or 6" (15") wide
cb = 60mm ( ? ) (not important as a spacer? can be used)

i can tell you straight off, no errors the 15" rims are 6" wide factory.
steel or 14" rims, yes i'd imagine 5" or 5.5". havent looked at my tyre placard for a while.

14" are 5.5
u dont need to know the cb size cos if the rims u are chasing are the wrong size they will just chuck a ring in there.
all u need to know is 4x114.3 and dont go wider than 6" on the front as it will rub, dont have tyres bigger than 225/50/16 on the rear of elantes or others with the flat rear gaurds as they will rub, dont have wheels bigger than 17 or they will rub (and will do on corners with 17"s)
i know all this from trial and error

cb= center bore (the ring in the center of the wheel)
offset umm, yer 35-38 but it makes no diff as we are allowed 13 diff so thats only 6 so it dont matter either will do.
and yay im back woot!!
oh btw, my rims are way off in the offset department and are set too far back and it looks sooo much better as they are 6" wide so looks like it has a big lip while it still sticks out the guards out a bit :D

meh
i dont see how it could be dangerous but meh mebbe illegal
i think offset is measured in mm
offset umm, yer 35-38mm is standard but it makes no diff as we are allowed 13mm tolerance so it dont matter either will do.
