Ok this is kinda scary for me, crusing along the highway normally about 2000+ rpm when my car gives a sudden jerk and a sharp noise abt 1 sec. The check engine light comes on for abt 3 secs then dissappears just as suddenly. Question is WHAT THE HECK just happened ? Any advide is appreciated !

IIRC russian has the check engine codes, and the method to do them maybe give him a pm or wait for him to post up

Good I dont have to post them hehe, there in that thread.

however I had that problem, I was driving out of my street and the 'Check Engine Light' came on, I was like wtf? the car just cut out. started it up drove a little more car cut out. Started it again and it lasted till I got to Mitsubishi, the fuel pump had went, thats the only time in my car the light had came on.


Before you keep guess'ing and can afford it go get it checked out, depending on if its staying on each time you start the engine.
