$110 for 1 cv joint?
theres four (4) of them
Should be able to get reconditioned ones for about $100 per side.
Look in the Trading post. There was a place called Sydney Driveshafts I think which are pretty cheap. They have a place in Leichhardt and Blacktown and others.
Heres the ad copied from the Trading Post.
CV driveshaft with reconditioned/new joints, supply/fit, prices from $50. Leichhardt 02-95180866, Hornsby 02-96723352, Hurstville 02-96723352 BLACKTOWN 02-9672 4818 or 0404-050766 More

i've been getting quotes the last few days on getting my CV joints replaced
been quoted $395 for both left and right-side Inner and Outer boots + driveshaft (inc labour) by Midas
kmart tyre and auto wanted $230 per side
ultra-tune wanted $275 per side
from what i've read here the midas quote seems bout right.
can anyone actually recommend a place in melbourne northern suburbs?
