On my Way home, a Truck collecting Skip Bins decided to Amble on Home and was stopping Every now and Then to collect Garbage from the Local Council Clean up...It was a Narrow Stretch and the Traffic in the opposite Direction was constant and With double lines nobody could go round him....

In Goes Skitzmix 19 and up goes the Volume.... The Bass, The Beats and the Melody was pure Bliss...Almost like a Live DJ mix up was happening some where on the Dash Board.... It was great..... I tried the SQ thing and Faded my 6x9's out and it felt extremely unnatural for me as it seemed to lower and expand my sound stage....The Bass was Great but the Mid range was appearing as if it was outside my windows, so in a way my6x9's were helping to centre my Front stage as well as my rear...

All in all a Great 10 minute 30 minute drive home

Happended to me, I got stuck on the ring road, bloody traffic was at a halt on a freeway!

No worries, fired up solitaire on the carputer and played a few games to pass the time :bowrofl:

I gotta get some real games on this thing.

Mmmmmm.... When traffic is giving me the sh!ts I just chuck in the Deep Dish Global Underground Toronto Cd's and the time passes much easier...

Oh yeah, only 6.5's and sub... I'm not playing my music for passengers.

dont you find that fast paced electronic music makes you want to drive faster? i cant handle listening to it in heavy traffic, some softer house beats or even god forbid ABC classic FM is much more soothing in heavy traffic?

Nothing More soothing then a Nice Bass Sweep from Dj Laz as Atlas has discovered..
6x9's and subs love DJ Laz...

Agreed, listening to fast loud music does not really go well with me when the traffic isn't moving. Not only does it increase the frustration, but you just get too many looks when your car is shaking the f*ck out of everyone else that you are stationary next to for a long long time.

Thats the whole Idea of having subs... to make the ground shake for a 20 metre radius :bowrofl:

I agree fast paced music can make you a little aggressive, but when you are cruising with the Subs pumping, I dont think Classical Music is going to cut it..

I did a test past the local drive by spot with R&B low low tunes from Fat Joe, Dance music ( Skitzmix 9 i think ) , Bass sweep and testing songs ( some sony that plays at around 25-45Hz ) and finally REM ( Losing My Religion ), I'm afraid I got the most stares with the REM song :bowrofl:

I have the 6x9's on so you can barely hear them... they are sony so enough said. I think a good SQ system is one that you cant really tell where the sound is coming from but it seems like you are in a concert ( i.e. surround ) and everything blends in like my sub blends in the fronts and the 6x9's are there but not overpowering, that is a good system.

There are more genres of music than Happy hardcore and Classical music, sorry to break it to you.

Come on , you cant tell me that Subs add Quality to music ???
Take a look at all the CRX drivers around, I am sure they only install Subs so they can make your Panels Flex at 20 Metres??? :bowrofl:

Actually Classical Music does contain alot of Sub Bass Frequecies...
Chopin and Bach bring out the Highs and Lows in a System rather well...

You just answered your own question and contradicted yourself in the one paragraph. Congratulations!
