Who is actually going to buy the 380 and what model would you be looking at? (refer to the link in this thread (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25338)) for details.

I'm looking at the GT even though its auto.

I was planning to months and months ago, couldnt hold out and got a TW- VR-X, am very happy with it, and from the images, i like it better than the 380, because i was looking at getting a 380 exec

I wont be buying one but if i did it would be a manual 380 VRX because i like my magna too much and i'll be keeping it and buying a XR6Turbo or similar as my next car.

ill prolly look at a VRX / GT in about 6months or so.

AUTO - as the gearing seems just right for a 300km/hour potential

Definetly go a GT in silver but will wait to see if any teething problems crop up, plus see how resale goes, might just buy a 2nd hand one this time.

Plus I don't have 50g to blow on a car at this stage.

as i said in the other thread, ill be looking at getting one in 18-24 months time, my current magna is on a lease so i will just upgrade through the lease program :D

Ill be getting a manual 380 VRX for sure, with sunroof, either silver or black.

It will probably stay stock for about a month.. if its lucky :D

im thinking along the lines of 19's, lowered, stereo, leather and a visit to mr. sprintex who will hopefully have a supercharger kit by then

should make a bloody nice car!

that too, being a completely new car, no doubt there will be a few teething problems... altho i hope there arnt any -

a series II would be great, (also if the up the kW by a few too to make it enticing)

i just had a look and i was suprised its a SOHC, would of thought they would of gone for the DOHC instead :doubt:

but i really like the parabolics in the VRX - they look awesome.

well today marks a great day, why? because depreciation hits again and our cars become cheaper cause of the 380!

viva la 380!

If i were in the market for one, it would definetely be a base model 380 manual. All auto-only models are ruled out and i just couldnt justify thousands extra for the VRX

Id rather a base model 380 lowered on 18/19's with cash left over than a stock VRX...

but i see you point :D

but seriously - unless (or should i say, until) somone makes a front bar like booya (now, somoene do a photoshop of something "along" those lines, not directly planted for the 380, ill take a VRX kit thanks :D

well the last magna was a TW (which was ridiculous but anyways)...so it wont be TM. And i very much doubt they will follow on from the magna model codes anyway.

Maybe PS? remember "PS41" :P

also the VRX has a much nicer interior as well IMO, much nicer colours and apparently the front seats in the VRX are also much nicer.. i think the money is probably justified, and even if its not, thats the one im getting anyway

I don't believe in buying new due to the steep resale loss initially so possibly buy one second hand in a couple of years but I want to buy a house soon too. Even so, there maybe another car that grabs my attention down the track.

But saying that, and although not entirely Mitsu's fault, they haven't helped resale for existing Magna customers with their heavy discounting. So I don't feel particulary loyal to Mitsu at this time but yeah I like the new 380.

Looks good at the moment, but If i do get one, i'd wait at least 6 months for mitis to sort things out, and go from there. I was a bit hesitant about the car, but now seeing the pics, the specs, i think mitsi will havin no problems selling this car. I'm pretty sure they have spent the time on the car, but I wouldnt put money down on averything being perfect.
Base model with manual trans, lowered on 18's with full exhaust and intake mods done for me please, ok thanks bye
