Hey guys...as my subs being installed on sat theres one thing i dont want for sure....and thats boot rattle!... fixing the number plate is easy enough..but do you guys have any hints or suggestions on how i should go about having minimal rattle outside of the car?
If possible... please advise me of any costs for certain materials.
thanks very much!

i sound deadened my boot with dynamat and done nothing to my number plate and it barely rattles
i put in 2 extreme dynamat kits though ... retails for around $330 per kit but well worth the dollars ... i did'nt dynamat the bottom of the parcel shelf though ... but all up i done the boot, top of parcel shelf down to the bottom of the floor, back doors and front doors
all up i think it cost around the $1000 retail ... but i bought it from work at cost for around $500

Spray on Deadoner like " SOUND OFF" about $60 a jar and a Can of color coded paint $30 for around 3 Cans....
Choices are varied it just depends on what you want the end result to be...

I've got the same problem, except it sounds like the fuel tank and the rest of that gear under the car is rattling. Will a dynamite kit or something similar prevent this??

the brake light in my rear spoiler rattles at high volume ... i'm hoping more sound deadening might tame it down a bit ... only way to stop it will be to take it off
but nothing rattles in the car at all except for that

Do the number plate, then take your boot mat out of your car, take it down to a place like Clark Rubber (http://www.clarkrubber.com.au) and have them cut you some foam/rubber the same shape.
Should be fairly cheap and if nothing else it should dramatically reduce road noise.

Yes front mounting does reduce boot rattles but the real Bass potential is not experienced..
As long as you are happy that is the main thing.. Now Time for Photo's !!!!!!!
