Hi, Does anyone have any idea why the TCL and Engine warning lights come on and then goes away when the engine has been switched off then on again????
PS: How does one remove the bottom part of the rear seat in the Magna/Verada Wagon.
Thanks!

Probalby just the ECU's doing self tests.. Nothing to worry about so long as they go away again pretty quickly...
To take the rear seat out, there should be two plastic clips between the seat and the chassis of the car.. Pull them toward the front of the car and lift the seat up at the same time. :)

Yeah its just the ECU doing a self test, if they stay on or come on while driving, then you have a problem.

Follow the fuel filter change procedure that I made, to remove the rear seats.

Sorry, maybe I did'nt explain the problem properly, the TCL dash and Engine light come on while driving when the car has been switched off and back on it goes away for a while and then both warning lights come back on!!!!. The Traction control works as the roads were slippery yesterday the Traction control kicked in, as the wheels slipped taking off, the green TCL Dash light came on for a brief moment saying it had done it's job , I had the car serviced last week timing belt and brakes and everything else....., It was fine until he touched the car, I showed the mechanic the problem with the TCL dashlight and he scratched his head and said he would call his mate a EX- MITSU service guy to find out what is causing it???( not to be trusted ) I was hoping to get some info from people who have had the same problem.
Thanks.
