I have finally been able to access the official MMAL press release on the 380.

All the info you could ever want is in here.

Also the thumbnails of all the MMAL official photographs. I intend to get all the high-res versions downloaded and onto CD. If someone could put their hand up for hosting, I'm happy to pass on a CD for that purpose. The JPGs are about 1.5MB each.

Please note that I have spent 4 hours (!) downloading and fixing up links etc in this content, then trying to get it all onto my webspace. It does not allow for easy uploads......and only a 10MB limit is stopping me from hosting more files myself. I have got the main 380 press shot and a few medium-res shot of interest to most of us.

***DIAL-UP WARNING*** The main 380PR.html document has an image weight of over 3MB. Official380Photo.jpg is 1835KB and might take a while too. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

hmm a bit odd how its saying the picture of the LX interior is actually a picture of the base model, how the exceeds interior is actually the LX (there is no exceed) and the GTVI's interior is actually the GT's (there also isnt a GTVi)

The VRX is right tho :D

the pic "GT-OnRoad" has just become my desktop wallpaper at work :D

DAMN!!!!!!!!!! an Inbuilt Headunit... Thats gonna be a Pain to replace !!!
Dash Mounted fronts. Oh Boy I feel another 2nd Gen flash back...

Anyone know what they got down the back or did they do something foolish like stick the speakers in the rear doors !!!

EDIT !!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!! 6x9's look like they have stayed in the Proper position by that nice Wide Shot of the LS Intereior !!! Sweet !!!!!!!!! lets just hope they are not 15W Eurovox ones !!

they have some kind of speakers in the dash, not sure what. They have what looks like 6" in the front doors, and it looks like they have continued the mitsubishi tradion of 6x9's in the rear parcel shelf. The inbuilt headunit does look a pain, however i found out you can order the face plate that goes with the satelite navigation to replace the existing face plate with the built in headunit, the satnav faceplate has a nice big double din hole in it which you can use for your aftermarket stereo :D

So yeah, dont fret, it is a built in headunit, but its still replacable without having to do a full custom faceplate :D:D

I was trying to post it into the forums itself. I ran into the 10,000 character limit. I cut it back to about 1/10th of the post, it was still over!

Then I deceided to clone the page and host it on my webspace....

I had a crappy day at work, I am dead tired and all I wanna do is sleep.
I think you will agree that my efforts were worth it!

Four swirl head applicator robots apply 42 metres of underbody sealant to ensure that all crevices and joins are perfectly sealed against the elements.
