Hey all,
just got off the phone to the local mitsu dealer about clear side indicators off a lancer or outlander (which i found by using the search engine) and he said he doubts they would fit my car and that they were $50 each  which i seriously think is way too much for 2 pieces of plastic totaling $100. im trying to find ones suitable for a tf executive. ive also heard hommodore side indicators fit from the VT series 2 and some VX models will fit but require slight mods, what are these mods? also was the guy right about the outlander and lancer side indicators not fitting my tf? $50 each is way too much though, i know about ozeparts.com but would prefer dealing local

You'll still need bulbs too and they aren't exactly cheap either. But as far as brand new from a dealer or shop that's about the going price.

Could someone who have gotten the clear side indicators give us some pics to let us an idea whether it was worth to bid for them? Yeah paying so much for 2 pieces of plastics really feels sucky, Not like everyone on the road will realised is very different from every Magna except for us fans.

i bought the lancer clear indicators new from mitsu $75 for both i think- they fit straight in with no mods. also they are a flat design, and look much cleaner than the commo ones. see attached pic

I've got the VTII clear indicators on mine, i think they were about $18 each from Commonwealth Motors. Had to cut some of the plastic on the back to make them sit flat. Circled in red in the pic.
Then went to supercheap to get the bulbs, heaps cheaper.

Interesting!!! May I know if there are any complicated connectors? are they basically the same as the Magnas?

I have seen LEDs clear side indicators for Lancers, WONDERING if they will work too.

I put VT ones on my magna - cost me $15 off of some one who happened to come into stock of a few pairs ;)

No mods required - just give them a good whack and the will clip right into place.

ahhhh are these the same "holes" with 2nd gens?

they seem like a cheap mod with good visuall impact. mmm, i like the idea of LED blinkers

and to get the old ones out is pretty much just a screwdriver to pry them out?
yes?
no?

cant WAIT till i go wreckers:)

There's a guy on ebay selling them for around $40 for the pair. Same as magna orange ones, but clear. Seeing as you have already bought comman***** ones, i guess they would do
