depends on the driver, and the condition of the tyres!! i know my TH is a bitch when the tyres are on the way out, something with close to the amount of go will do me :cry:

as for whether its worth getting a rear muffler, bloody oath!! the only point you will loose big time is off the start (the manuals jump so well!!) after that the freer exhaust should show through!!!

No point getting what? An auto? No, I wouldn't, but manuals aren't common.

Or did you mean a panel and muffler? Yes, because it will improve what you've got. Still might not match the manual but that's because the manual is good.

How would the auto magna go against a VT/VX commo?

the 3.5 auto will take the 3.8 auto close - but shoudl still take it - the commodores are a little heavier!!

That's definately faster than a Commodore. Motor get high 16's on the Exec. Don't know if it's auto or manual though.

I read that same article which quoted a 1999 TH magna sports with tiptronic auto and still only 147kw 3.5 @ 15.6 secs 400m and 8 secs 0-100. It left me so confused that I started a thread about it as other reports on the plain exec and advance models aren't that fast but have the same engine, I know a manual one really hauls but an auto whether tippy or not? that fast stock?
I am looking at them at the moment, I like magnas, but I am also a die hard RWD fan and therefore like Commodores to really only because of the RWD.
