I have the exact same thing on my auto cause when i get onto the freeway the car has just warmed up but it takes like another 10-15 mins for it to drop revs. It usually cruises at 2,200rpm but with the choke it stays at about 2,400.
And i would also like to know if there is a fix or something to this.

they dont have a choke
the coolant temp sensor controls cold idle
a bad thermostat will make car run cooler
dirty coolant will alter the readings from the coolant temp sensor
if this makes no differance you need to reset the base idle and check tps and also vacume leaks
I've got a KS Verada automatic, which does 2400rpm at 100km/h when not yet fully warmed up. Only after about 12 to 15 minutes after start-up, the lock-up torque converter will kick in and drop the revs to 2200rpm.

I've read around here somewhere that a dud O2 sensor will cause the same thing - something to think about if your mileage is high.
