hey guys i currently have 2 candence ams and im looking to get new gear...im looking at responce amps..
my current amps are the
Z4000-4x75Wrms
Z9000-1x800wrms
do response make anything in this ball park of power?
i thought they make a 4x100wrms??is this true
do they make any amps 600wrms+
i neeed the big amp to power a solo baric with dual 2ohm voice coils@600wrms
so do i need an amp that does 600wrms at 1ohm?at least

It's good stuff. I've got one of the 4 x 100 WRMS ones, and it goes alright... :) I'm happy with it anyway.
And i'm looking at one of the monoblocks soon...

those readings are in wrms correct?

response amps = very good + cheap... know some people with some
soon to be getting a 1 or 2 myself :D

Response: Cheap doesn't necessarily mean nasty with these.
The monoblock is very competitively priced. A decent 1x800W Mono should cost $800plus.
The new range of amps are good, although the new range of speakers (especially the new 'Kevlar" splits) have taken a bit of a bagging.
Just for price comparisons, my JL 500.1 (ex-Megatron) amp is rated at 500W but does closer to 630W with decent power supply (wiring, maybe a cap!). It's RRP is $1089 and I can get it new for $990 without any problem, possibly cheaper if you shop around a it more.
