booked it in for a cv as it was squeaking and a posted topic concluded that it was most proably it,

so take it there he takes it for a drive and has a look at the cv's.
nothing wrong at all with them, says its with the breaks and would be because they are worn out,
so off to my mates workshop with a hoist and remove the brake pads only to see that they are still almost brand new......
so wasnt that, put it all together and drive home,

squeakin as stopped ??? and hasnt come back since, been 2 days now

so just gonna leave it for now see how she goes

you took the pads out....probably brake dust interference or a sticky caliper

some brake pads no matter what u do to them will always squeek, it not really a problem, and if the squeaking annoys u just turn your stereo up

Mine squeak and it hasnt even been driven lots.... i think my car just sat at the car yard and built up shit on the discs or something. Anyway i used anti-brake sqeaking stuff... from big w... was a bargain mate!
