Giday, Have just bought a ks verada and wondering if anyone can tell me how the immobiliser on these cars work, because according to the stats on the car they came standard with one out of the factory.Any help appreciated. Cheers, Buzz.

does it have remote central locking? probably integrated into that.

Car has central locking but only with the key.

The KS that is here (that got rego'd the day after MM05 came to town) had an immobiliser from factory. They cut fuel, spark and starter motor.

Behind your ignition barrel is a little sensor that tells it what you have done with the key, as soon as this is tampered with it locks up and have fun getting Mitsubishi to reset it. The local dealer here couldnt even talk to the Imobiliser control with a MUT.

They are also a pain in the arse when something goes wrong with them.
