The previous owner of my magna (TF sedan) had the passenger front window smashed into. when i put new front speakers in i noticed some glass still at the bottom inside the door, tried to get at it by way of vaccuming it out  but some still left, just wondering if anyone new how to pull the door apart (not just the interior part of it).
cheers,
Shezza

can you get like a thinner nozzle... or make some sort of thinner nozzle for the vacuum. Either that or do the logical thing and tip the car up-side-down and shake the glass out. im pretty sure taking teh door apart would be hard

yeah i'd imagine it would be rather hard. i put the front speakers in well over 6months ago but the rattle vibrations from the bass are just giving me the sh*ts. I have no idea even where to start to be honest, just thought i'd ask if anyone knew how to go about it.
Your turing my car upside-down n shake it out does seem like a pretty mad solution :bowrofl: hehe
turning it up-side-down is probably easier than pulling teh door apart. :P ... but i would honestly try to modify your vacuum cleaner nozzle and jam that in there.....

i'll try it over the wkend prob sunday mornin. pulling the door apart must be one hard job if the glass repairers couldn't get it out  Mr. Vaccuume will have to do his best

Hose out the inside of the door. The water will come right out of the drain holes. Just be sure to wipe it dry inside and air dry before putting it all back together.

It could just be that your vacum cleaner's bag has the pores blocked up. This causes the airflow to stop and the vacum to not be able to suck anything up. Thats why vacums dont work like they're supposed to after being used for 15 minutes after being out of the box. Try changing the bag and filters in your vacum or get a better machine. Also, use the corner cleaning attachment that comes with your vacum. And dont press the attachment against the door because you need to keep the air flow going in order to suck anything up. ;)

You could try explosives, or do it like re-using a condom, take it off, turn it upside down and shake the F@#k out of it.
Failing that try tapeing a bit of garden hose to the end of the vacuum hose. It gets into tight spots, just make sure you get a good seal at the joint. Go duct tape lol
