Hi Guys,
I'm fairly new to the Forum and I've notice a lot of talk around exhaust (which is awesome) because I'm having a little difficulty deciding what to do. There have been some good ideas, but I guess I wanted to take bits and pieces out of each discussion and as the questions:
1. What is the best Cat Converter to go with?
2. What is the best Muffler to go with?
3. What size piping is ideal?
I have a TF Magna and I'm looking for a really nice 'deep' note, that does drone and doesn't rattle, while also improving performance. I'll be putting a unichip in and have a custom built filter system.

Thoughts?

2.5" is the most suitable sizing. 3" will drone like a sick cow. A FULL 3" sys will lose you low end torque and make the car a little sluggish esp if it's an auto.

Thanks man. I've been considering the Magnaflow and the Lukey as the Muffler, which one would be more reasonable? Or is there something better? And as far as the cat converter is concerned, I've been looking at teh Lukey, again, would this be the best to give me a little more pickup?

From my own experience and from other threads on this forum - I'd go with a Lukey or Redback muffler & 2.5" - not sure about cats.

I have a Redback sports flo-through muffler at it drones a bit (ie I wouldn't have it on the family car) but I LIKE it on my car
oh and no rattle - just maybe a pop or two (sometimes) when I back off or change down a gear.
