26990 is what the advertised onroad cost is.. so yes you should be able to haggle it down

dont bother with the "my mate got one for xxx" cos they will just respond with "Yeh but that was then, blah blah"

go with the whole "the new model is out and i am not paying the advertised price on a car thats value is going to drop, and 26990 is the advertised onroad price" line and just remember there are plenty of mitsubishi dealers around, if he wont play ball then go to a different one

In WA it was much cheaper, saw TL going for slightly less then what you quoted $23K and some slightly lower. Then again I might be wrong. But was sure I saw it that low over here.

I've see them for $19,990 driveaway.. but they have like 5,000 - 8,000 kms on them so they arent exactly new, ex-demos

Agreed, I was just afraid to quote lower as I might be wrong. but you will probably end up maybe $22000 all up in the end. Still a good quote for a quite new car. I really like the TL as its really a comfy car. I am sure you will like it.

its a great car until it comes to selling it. get an ex-demo and let them pay for the instant depreciation.
