Allo all,
just recieved my clock which i bought off gdrpuck (thanks mate). Just wondering if anyones fitted one of these???
I had a look and the ts seems to have simple plugs to go straight onto the back. What does i have to do, splice power etc from one of the other accessories?? by the way there are four seperate wires too...

it compliments the interior very well, didnt know i'd be impressed,
thanks for any help; aj

1 wire is Earth
1 wire is Ignition
1 wire is 12V full time (to hold the memory)
1 wire is for your lights (to dim it at night)

As for which is which ask the guy you bought it off might be best.

If he doesnt know, earth is usually "black" and the rest you can work out by connecting the earth up and putting 12v on the others to see what happens. If it comes on you have the ignition, leave it connected. Then connect the other 2, one at a time, if it goes dim you have the light connection, if nothing happens you probably have the memory (full time 12V)

Once you have that sorted use a meter or test lamp to find those supplies, Earth just goes to the cars metal frame somewhere.

I hope thats some help.

The green/white wire on the head unit is for light dimming

did you get the plug that plugs into the clock? when my mate fitted one of those clocks to my car ages ago, we had a crap of a time trying to find one of those plugs! Found one in the end at a wreckers

He wired the clock plug up to my radio, coz the radio has a dimmer light etc etc, have never had any probs
