Its a pain if its your first time. I see if I can take some pics for you. No promises!
The thing is some of these parker are not easy to take out. there are grips on the side, try turn and twist left right to slowly lossen it out.

Yeap. The thing is the first time is hard the second and third time it gets looser. slowly but painfully you will get yours out. hold the black holder to pull it out, and pull out straight.
Step one

Dunno about the others, but if your other side is just as tight, remove the battery cover first for more access. and yes cry yourself out for another 30+mins lol.
But after that is easy to change them.

Do it when you got more time on hands. and do it in the day where there is more light. best not to do in the sun as you will sweat if it doesnt come off easily.

For those who saw my picture examples, PLEASE its not as that easy as you think especially on old 3rd gen models like mine. If its been sitting in there for a long time prepare 1 and a half hour for each bulb! "You are joking!" nope. They are not as easy as just pull it out. dust, dirt, etc is formed during the time when it was left alone so it becomes stuck.
additional tip.
For the other side, please remove the battery cover and dont be lazy lol. You will need the space!!! My hands are much smaller than most of you guys and I have worked on an aircraft before.
Remove the MAIN H4 bulbs if its difficult. as said, you need the space. BTW at this stage you should consider new bulbs lol. rather do it once and thats it.
oh and you could put a bit of teflon to ensure this will never be too tight again. Howver this is not necessary as I never had a problem after removing the parker lights.
You may crack or break a bit of the plastic that holds the parker lights but it will sill be ok.
Have fun! I sure didnt lol.

When i changed my parkers the bulb fell through into the head light, so i had to pull the whole head light out to get it out. :D

keep in mind that blue parkers are ILLEGAL while the vehicle is on.
my friend had them while he was driving: $75 and 1 point. Be warned

May I ask how the heck do they know that it is blue when I turn it on it is white? No offence what so ever I am cool with changing, I dont like white lights anyway, was a waste of my time.
I ask this because even Narva bulbs are slightly blue for white lights. This is not a blue coloured lighting bulb, its bright white, so that is why I am asking. Not saying u r wrong either, was just curious if your friend's bulbs were showing BLUE light not WHITE and that was why he got caught?
Seen some green lights also, and they are awful. If you are telling me White parker lights are not allowed I remove them ASAP, no arguements, I just didnt have the time to hunt for good pair of normal parkers for now.
cheers!

So what. Better than making a new thread for something that was covered before. At least he uses the SEARCH tool:gtfo:
What cord wouldn't move? Just follow the pics above and then pull really hard on that little connector. (its somewhat below the main light bulbs)
If you wanna put rubber sleeves onto the parkers, careful. I did that a while ago, and after a while they fall off. Bought LED ones instead now and looks much better.

The first time i did this, it felt like i was gonna break it. It sits in there quite tight. Just grab hold of it and pull hard. THey just clip in

i know ... massive thread mine.
but took my car to mechanics and they went to replace the passenger side low beam bulb.
As above, the bulb/cover was stuck on tighter than tight. In an effort to get it off...they broke it. (cover and/or pin/clips that hold the bulb... not sure).
They thinking of ordering in a whole new headlight unit as a fix... eep.

If they broke it then they should be paying to replace/repair it as well imho. Yours are parabolic headlights or normal?
