I did a little looking around earlier this week to try and find an easy swap. There isnt one. But enough time and money and anything is possible. A guy at the wreckers told me that for aftermarket swaps look at the bosch ones. Good luck tho.
When swapping to a different TB you have to think about the ISC and the TPS aswell

That's your major hassle.. anything can be made to bolt up to the plenum chamber, but if you can't adapt the TPS to give the same voltage output as the stock TB you'll need to bin it or buy a full replacement ECU.

Mate, bring it over, will have a look at it, of for nothing else just curiosity

Might be better to flog it on ebay and put the proceeds towards an RPW oversized one.

I don't believe they make oversized ones, only hi-flow... there were only a few made... not for at least a year or so, too much involved, and a few problems. I know [WTCHME] was getting it done but ran into difficulties too.

Pretty much you did, that's why I said I agreed with you.. lol
Just bolt another stock TB on the other side its not very hard. Second hand TB costs about $100. Mine should be finished in a week or two  hope it bloody works....

I read somewhere that AU 70mm throttle body's are the way to go cause there a much better design or something, they flow much better, not due to the size but the disign. But why do it when u got the same size AFM? The AFM will will restrict it to the point of pointlessness wont it? Unless u get 2 throttle body's isnt it?

The VS V6 TB's are actually only 60mm, the 5L V8 are 65mm both are interchangeable between these two motors. Our 3rd Gens come with 65mm OEM, but with a dirty big lip :(
The Commy TB's have a fixed TPS location and no ISC. I have 6x of these TB's in my garage atm as I bore them out to 70mm for a dyno shop in Newcastle. I'm putting one on my brothers VN V6 ute to see if it gives the kick in the arse this Shop tells me it does.
Btw, they wont bolt up to a Magna without an aftermarket ECU. Cheaper to cut one from a blank billet or get a bigger one cast. Or you could wait till after christmas when I've finished making some.......
