Ive finished my manual conversion but to finish off everything i need to cover up the bit in the middle of the dash where the P N D 1234 are.
Could one of the photoshop guys knock something up? (pretty pretty please :) )
its about 10cm vertically, and about 2.5cm wide.

What iwas thinking was a mitsu logo at the top (with no text)

below it in the TJ bootlid badge font (in white) on a black background.
Ive been stuffing with photoshop all after noon and cant seem to get something to look good :nuts:
would be really awesome if someone could prove to me how much of a retard i am at photoshop

Sorry a little off topic but i'd also be interested in seeing some photoshops of custom dash clusters, i was thinking of putting in a cool graphic or something :).

I've been bored before and chopped my odometer to read 900,000km+ or something like that.. pretty easy stuff.

i just need the image - to be those dimensions, ill print it out and put it behind the cluster

the dimensions were 10cm long and about 2cm wide

as the decription above - mitsu logo up the top with magna down vertically, black background & kinda understated :P

u could grab some bog or filler stuff and patch up that hole, fill it up.

once you're done, sand it so it looks all smooth. Also a good opportunity to spray ur dash all pretty colours :D

Heres ya MAGNA Bling Style
Just make sure u print it really good quality on really thick good quality gloss paper. then mount it on black plastic ( like the back of a plastic sleeve folder ) this will stop any light glowing through it which would prolly look ****.

There seems to be a bit of interest as mitsubishi auto boxes aren't the greatest and often don't last as long as the engine.

Yeah did conversion myself.. there is a thread under tech torque - umm all up cost about $2000 for parts.. conversion probably took the best part of 10 hours maybe a bit more.. (not including the saga with the gearboxes :S) would be happy to give u any advice / help.

surely the point was to have it smooth and minimalistic looking?

ummmm... how much do i want to get that embossed into a badge (horizontal of corse) fill the middle with little rhinstones or such, and put it on my pimpmobile :o

well, if i can get it to look semi-factory considering its a sports model it will look alright. otherwise ill just put black in there like the standard manuals, but it might look alright which is why i wanted the factory font.
We'll see anyway... i might put it together and go blergh
