so all you wanna know is where to mount it? pull the headliner would be a no miss, but knock on it like you would on a wall for a stud.

pull off your interior light and there's 2 holes there you can screw to .. no need to pull the roof lining out ... just pull the passenger side sun visor of and feed the cable across
that's all i done ... used the 2 screws that hold the interior light on :) i put a 10.4" screen in mine .... took a couple of hours

hey guys, a bit off topic buuut, im making up a board that goes on the boot lid, that im mounting a tv and speakers onto, a-la showcar style, you know, so when you open the boot its facing towards you? anyways, i wanted a bigge screen 10-13', anyways i was thinking of buying a big flip down one and removing the screen part from it, this can be done right, as the rist of it is just a plastic holing dealy basically? i wanted to go this way cos you cant buy normal screens larger than 8"
cheers,
tom

Maybe look for a broken flip down on ebay and then just take the screen off of it?

just seen a 17inch flip down on ebay for 699+postage :D
i dont see any reason u could pull the mounting section of a flip down one to pecies and chuck the base away and only use the monitor... all you need is the wires out of the plastic base and thats it... it would look kinda ****ty tho cause u would have the ___/---------\__ shape to it once the base is removed where the hinges are

yes, and the incredibly large price tag associated with it, and all the wiring hassles
