Hey guys anymore of ya want Parabolics for your 2nd Gens ? Let me know ok ? Just sent out 3 pairs to the first batch and some more people have come forward to express their interest in getting them too. If ya need a pic have a look at my car's pic(avatar) exactly what they will look like when fitted. Will bolt stright in no problems and beam is MUCH better then the standard headlights (dispite what others say). Pls look up the thread in the FOR SALE section to see whats been going on ok? Thanks !

Postage to where ?? 3020 ? Erm which state is that ? If youre in Brissy you can pick them up if you wish I can even help you install them(for a 6 pack of Bees knees ). aniway its a flat postage and handling fee of $35 anywhere else due to the weight and packing (and beer). hehehh

oh ok no probs $35 sounds cool (btw im in VIC forgot to say that :P )

you said in earlier posts you had to cut a wiring loom of some sort for the parkers to work.
now seeing as everything electrical in the car i touch blows a fuse im wondering how hard it is to do (have ya got photos?) becuase as soon as my dirty little inexperianced hands touch the cars wiring system you know for sure whatever it is i touched wont be working for 3 weeks :P

let me have some time to ponder and if the time is right i might be in, but i know this is a long shot but "this guy", will he have any towards end of year/start of year?

Strange as I can send a PC across the contry with aust post for 17 bucks.....

They do bolt in however there are a few minor wiring alterations.

BTW, Vic post codes start with a 3....try going to whitepages.com.au if you are not sure of what is what

Hey man photos ? Well not really but i'lll try and get some for you... simple steps tho

1. Theres only 1 wiring harness with 2 wires coming outta your headlights when you PULL OUT the WHOLE headlight unit. Cut both the NEW and OLD wiring (the 2 wires) harness off (use a pair of pliers or scissors dosent matter) BUT LEAVE A BIT of wire on each side i.e. don't cut directly at the end of the wires. Some where in the middle of the wires is suffecient.

2. Swap the harness around. i.e. old harness into NEW headlight units by exposing a bit more of the copper wire by removing A BIT of the rubber around the wires on the headlight and harness wires.

3. TWIST the 2 wires together ! Does NOT matter which wire goes where (TRUST ME) just form a complete circuit thats all there is to it !

4. Get a bit of black tape and cover the exposed copper bit of wire.

5. Reinstall headlight units ! Don't forget to reconnect the harness for the parker lights !

6. ENJOY !

N.B. If the Parker lights DO not light up at first pls CHECK that the GLOBES are in working condition before tearing into the wires again(not necessary). As these are second handsets the GLOBES that come with the units MAY NOT WORK !!

If possible I reccomend BUYING NEW Parker lights ($5) BEFORE installing them into the headlights! ALSO THE PARKER lights are DIFFERENT from the ones in the 2nd Gen Car so PLS CHECK B4 YOU BUY THEM !
i.e. BEFORE installing them, take the parker lights out of the NEW headlights, go to supercheap auto / autobahn or whereever you normally buy car parts and show them the ones FROM the NEW headlights(about $5). THIS IS TO PREVENT ANY CONFUSION !

The Parabolics use the SAME GLOBES from the Main Headlights (H4) and Hi Beam (Forgot which ones) lights so you can replace them all at once or reuse the ones from your OLD Headlights ..... hmmmmm philips blue vision plus .......... hahahahh
