OK got my car serviced today and found out what a genuine Mits. magna fog lights were worth. $499 per light... Thats right... per light! So a pair is about $1000 + $300 wiring and labour. I nearly fell over when he told me.

that sounds about right.. mitsu are renowned for their rediculously high prices... best way to get some is just get aftermarket ones from autobarn and the likes, or wait/search for a TL/TW at a wreckers with these foggies, although i dont like your chances

edit: im pretty sure there is 2 different genuine mitsu styles, one for the vrx's and i think the ones off the verada gtv's are slightly different

I went to a Mitsi's wrecker and they had TL VRX foggies for $90 each.

I'd say the Standard foglights are very far from weak, on my vrx they make the light real white, and also very bright

Has anyone ever tried to wire the low beams to come on with high beams? I have found that sometimes when the conditions are **** and you hold the light stick on but not flick it onto high beam, the low beams come on too and dam it makes a difference. I am just not sure whether or not the cabling would support that sought of power consumption???

ANY IDEAS??????

i used to have to do this in my lancer, becuase it used only 1 H4 globe.. they were awesome for low beam, but high beam was soooo crap. So i used to flick the high beams on then hold the stalk in (as if i was turning them back off, but kept holding it) which made both fillaments in the bulb come on.. not sure whether it is any good for the globe or the headlamp itself becuase it could be burning too hot if you know what i mean?

I've got KL driving (foggy) lights fitted to my ES TL. The VRX lights are not the lights you are after unless you want to change the whole bar over to a VRX front bar. The KL lights fit straight into the ES bar, there is even the wholes for the screws to fit in - no need to make a bracket or anything.

Mine set me back $200 from a member on the forums.

All I did was wire them back to the fusebox, put a relay in so they turn on when the parker lights are turned on with a switch under the dash to turn them off if they are not wanted when the standard light system is on.
