View Full Version : Head Markings, What do the mean?
OK Those of us that speak fluent "Mitsubish", The M markings on our heads what do they mean? EG M1, M2, M3, M4, M5.
I seem to have a M5 in my TM Magna, I get the feeling thats a EFI TPish aged head? Seems my poor TM is more confused that I thought!

if you do a search you might find the answer in the 1st gen section, cos i remember asking about my head ages ago, and i think notorius posted it up.

This is the first gen section I hope! Saw that post but was no solid answer made so thought I'd try again.

have a look at the "sticky" MODS thread in the second gen section.
the numbers you refer to are the casting series

Thats one I didn't see, but it mentions everything except the M5, and that's the one I have!
Also doesnt mention the M8, which mazzazx51 has on his 1st gen
And as a bonus, on looking at my mums TM today, hers too is a M5, what were these heads built for?
It's just the casting series. M8's the TS head. I can't remember M5, I think it's carby unleaded.
