Hey Paul,

I reckon it looks sweet. Gives it a more newer/updated appearance to it.

hey good job m8.

looks tops

now do all your door trims. and your whole dash.

[TUFFTR]
11-10-2005, 07:48 PM
door trims - ill be making black fluffy inserts for em soon, but besides that i like em black.
and dash same deal, ill spray inserts silver early next year but i like inside being black, or else if its not black it defeats the purpose of the 20% tint

I say, good job mate - they look great - wish I had thought to paint them black while I had them!

That's a bit harsh, I've met your Dad, and he's okay.

not my car yet so dont be jealous...
Yeah, that's what your Mum says she keeps reminding you. lol

when we bought the car he was overweight and thats why the seats were flat, as of recently he has lost weight so you cant really tell. i hope he doesnt ruin these seats
nothing harsh intended

yeah, I re-read your post and spotted the "previously" too late. :doubt:

Great looking seats tho - What are you going to do about the Back Seat - I presume it's now a different fabric (I thought you must have had the same fabric until I saw the photos).
I still have my back seat - but not sure if it would fit in a wagon anyway (doubt) - you may need to keep a watchout for a sedan rear seat in the same fabric (look for 95 TS). Unless you have seat covers which I presume you don't seeing as all the paint trouble you went to.

lookin aiight man.

gotta see it in the flesh at the next cruise or somethin

[TUFFTR]
12-10-2005, 04:28 PM
unfortunatly i wont be on a cruise for at least 12 months - i turn 17 in a few days so yeah the 18th is in 1 year, dont worry ill be on a cruise with feeken bells on!

Puck - i have seat covers for the front seats so i didnt really care what fabric it was becuase it was going to be covered, if i do however come across a real nice condition back seat i might snap that one up as well, me and my sis have been sitting in the same seats for 12 years now - and like the fronts are also flat - but its not high on the agenda at all, its not very often we have over 2 people in that car now

and the inserts on the door trims will be retrimmed in ultra pimp fluff! so i might try and get a black seat cover for the rear seat or something, but yeah the new seats r awesome, when i put my loose fit seat covers on em - they weren't loose!

so well i just sprayed the whole seat as theres no use just spraying the back, there no use doing a half assed job if it means ur just going to have to do it again in a few years.

hojo
12-10-2005, 04:37 PM
hey paul mate, that looks awesome! i might do my whole interior now (i hate the blue-ness of my interior) cant wait to see the fluff either :P

[TUFFTR]
12-10-2005, 06:13 PM
well mate, 1 can did me two seats, so you might need a few, but first id look around and see how much the blackish interiors are going for, if not yeah id spray it, ya just gotta make sure your strokes are smooth and dont stop halfway, or else your dash will look blobby.
the cans at super cheap were $12 each on special, so i guess for like $60 you could have a whole new colored interior.

ill try and get some fluff on saturday - my mum absolutly hates it, she thinks its to 80's, but i reckon its looks pimp, so yeah lol more projects coming along bit by bit lolz
