Hi people, just wondering if anyone who has a TL VRX has taken out the factory head unit and put in their own head unit? is it very difficult to do? I haven't actually got my car yet but will very soon and I want to transfer my stereo from my old car to my new one. I have done a search of the thread but haven't really seen anything on this yet. Would I have to buy a double din unit to fit the car?

Thanks Atlas, did a search but found a bit on the TJ VRX's but not the later models, the factory systems are completly different aren't they? I was kind of hoping if someone else out there who has a car like the one I'm getting has done anything to their factory unit. The standard TL's and TL VR's have single din stereo's but the VRX model has a double din stereo.

oo bummer could always buy a new D-din H/U? Other wise you could try putting the little tray thing under it to fill the gap or maybe a UHF?

will do wilsact but it could be a while before that happens, the Stock stereo actually isn't that bad but see how the money goes for the time being, would love to have my old system in my new car :D
