i have a broken LHS mirror (just the mirror itself, not the housing) and i bought one from the wrecker, but now, how do i remove the mirror itself from the housing? there is no external clips or screws that i can undo.... how??? :nuts: thanks!

the manual says:

Turn the mirror by hand so it faces upwards, insert the (-) screwdriver wound with masking tape into the notched section. and lever outto release the mirror from the bottom catches. remove the mirror from the upper catches by pulling downwards....
