Just popped my TJ2 AWD head unit (in face CD) in my Mrs TF but the damn thing wont turn on when ignition's on or turn off when you turn the ignition off.

Help.

Is it like, impossible to turn off? even if u push the off button? cahnces are you've wired a constant '12v' signal to your accessory wire.

just pull the fuse for now, so you dont drain the battery.

Sounds like you've got your permanent and acc 12v wires around the wrong way. Try swapping these over.

BTW it's a TF, i doubt it's still under warranty :P.

I can turn the unit on and off on the face.

When doing the swap I just unplugged the harness, no fancy wire work needed. It did have a Kenwood 10stacker in it but the wires on the kenwood harness are dodgy and I just needed to put some tunes in the car for the mrs until I could bring my elec kit home.

just pull the fuse for it and put it back in will go back to working like normal, i had this problem in my verada on the stocko headunit, couldnt change the volume, cd, radio station or anything and it stayed on for 2 hrs before i pulled the fuse and presto back to working order
