jsut saw the add on tellie. sunday show did a 5min piece on it .. first time ive actually seen the car moving and on ttellie etc. looking damn fine (not sure on the interior though, hope its bigger than it looks).

but the add.. kinda sucks.. hehe

Heh, that was cool. I saw all 3 of the new 380's @ my local mitsu dealer the other day while my car was in the shop. Saw the 380, 380-VRX and the 380GT. One of the mechanics was doin laps around the car yard lol. Sweet lookin car!

Lets just hope it is as good as what they say in the Commrecial as I would hate to Sue MMAL because they Dubbed the engine sound....

from the what it looks like on tv it looks better than the pics that have been posted up, looks almost like the vectra, which is a very sexy car also!

I can confirm the exhaust note on the VRX and the GT is very addictive!!! The engine has a very unlike Mitsi purr about it! :D

Just saw the ad, didn't like it. Really conservative IMO.

Seen a ES 380 on display at Moore park supa centre today.. still not making me like the things. even worse now ive seen the thing with my eyes.. :D

Kinda average ad too.. they could of done so much better.. :nuts: This is suposed to be the best thing for mits in many years and thats how they promote it.. :confused:

Tha add was very lame... they need to pep it up heaps more than that... close ups... flash shots... speedy drive by's... show a bit of that extra muscle.... oh, and take the rent a crowd extras out of it... I was disapointed.

Just looking at the specs sheet. Is it right that the 380 has bigger rear discs then the front? Was something like 302mm rears and 298 fronts. Bit strange isnt it?

They cant make ads that promote speed or dangerous driving due to advertising regulations. Remember the ad with the awd tl taking a corner on a dirt road with a falcon and commodore was pulled after Road Safety groups had a B!tch about it!!!

Yeah good point... But I think they could have given the illusion of speed with some clever camera work and thought though and got around it... like a classy shot of countryside cruising and a sudden sneak flash of power and noise to break it up.. But they certainly could have done something else to gear it towards a younger market, like not put that pukey smiley namby pamby guy in the front seat for starters.

I like the ad, very well done job. I am sure they have more to come aswell. :D

I thought the ad was ok however channel 9 aired it in every freakin ad break from like 8.30 last night. But the more I saw it the more I liked the car. And the interior looks the goods appearing more roomy than the magna.

However, I think Mitsu could have put a better soundtrack to it. Holden use better tunes e.g. Astra covertible/SSZ Commos, to get viewers excited and to help them remember the car.

What ever happened to some GOOD **** like the 'driving your world' campaign, that was :D

Are we talking about the ad were the people rip up the road and carry it away? (sorry can't view the attached one in the original post, I'm at work.) I thought that ad was pretty damn good. Way better than the silly Lancer one with the guy sinking into his seat. I'm so relieved to see the car looks so much better than the US Galant, and lerve the blue instruments!

I thought the ad was a shocker too. I liked the old Ralliart ads on the burnout pad :D

Showing cars in everyday situations helps people visualise themselves in the car doing what they do day to day. You have to make the people relate to the product and make them feel inadequate without it.

I thought these advertising executives had Degrees?!
