A monoblock amp would not have 2 sets of terminals. Hook up both speakers in parallel (both +ive onto the +ive terminal of the amp, and both -ive onto the -ive terminal of the amp) to get the most out of this 1ohm stable amp.

Are those voice coils 4 ohm or 2 ohm each.
If they are 4 ohm, then yes you have it right for a 1 ohm stable amp.
If they are 2 ohm, you are actually presenting a 0.5 ohm load to the amp.
If they were 2 ohm coils, you would wire the coils from one speaker in series to make it a normal 4 ohm load. you would do the same to the other speaker, wire both speakers in parallel to make a 2 ohm load.
But since you don't say the amp cuts out or goes into protection mode, then I would say you have right
The only way to go now to make it louder is a bigger amp, or get a second amp, and run 1 amp per driver, and wire the voice coils in parallel for a 2 ohm load.
BTW, my JL 500.1 has two output terminals. It's just two paralleled branches of the output, so you don't have to splice wiring, which is dangerous voltage/current at these sort of levels.
*mitsimonsta sees how many times he can put 'parallel' into a post..... oh look, that's another one*
