Ok i really want to know what the best material to use for sound deadening. How ever is not my stereo that causes the resonant drone inside the car but my exhaust. so the material to use would be going not only the doors and boot but under the carpet on the floor as well. The exhaust sounds absolutly excellent outside but i want it quieter on the inside. Any suggestions? I know of dynamat and bostik etc but will that stuff be suitable?

www.secondskinaudio.com
product called sprectrum V3
dont settle for the cheap aussy rip offs, they are not as good, plus pricing on V3 is pretty good.
its a liquid paste
very good...
after that is dry look at getting some open cell and closed cell foam..
maybe some jute, carpet underlay stuff...
use of various materials vs 1 will be the best option....
i used 2 layers of V3 in my trunk and that its self got rid of my muffler drone..

Ur after sound insulation material more than deadener.
deadener stops resonance. Insulating carpet stops the transfer of sound through it. In your case deadener would help a bit. Also thick carpet around the exhaust area would also help.
Deadener sheets- Dynamat, Stinger Expert, gspot, serenity max
Paint/spray on - sound off
