From 1 - 10, how difficult is changing brake rotors and pads yourself. This is for somebody who just knows how to change the oil.

The only reason i says this is because if you stuff it up - you can possibly injure or at worst kill yourself or others.

If you are not confident and have not not done this before - take it to a pro.

pads - 3 <-- make that 6; just saw your comment about changing the oil

rotors - unsure, never changed them myself.

Don't attempt without proper tools and guidance.
